Ed Lee poses an interesting question for all you spin doctors, maybe even a new party game? :-
How would you deal with this crisis?Your CEO gets drunk at an official reception, stumbles home through the streets, loses his Blackberry, his security card and his laptop. He then climbs into an unlocked car and starts throwing childrens’ toys out of the window.
When confronted he says "I’m the CEO; it’s what I do!"

PlagiarismToday » Why Use Copyright Notices?
Copyright notices, along with the famed © symbol, are archaic relics of a bygone era. Rendered obsolete by the Copyright Act of 1976 and the Berne convention, the copyright notice has been virtually useless legally for nearly three decades.
Do you still use the © symbol?
Have another look at this earlier post for some copyright tools for use on the web.

An old link but good to get thinking about how we use the latest technology.
Travels with iPod @ National Geographic Traveler
Ubiquitous MP3 players have altered the way we travel.
Electronic devices such as BlackBerrys and Treos changed business trips. Now MP3 portable music players—most notably the industry’s standard-bearer, Apple’s iPod—are fast doing the same for leisure excursions. Aside from bringing Dean Martin along to “Mambo Italiano†on a trip to Capri, travelers can now download everything from an unabridged copy of The Da Vinci Code for beachside listening, to an audio tour of Pompeii. Here are nine ways to use your iPod while on the road:
Listed are 9 ways to be plugged into your mp3 player all day listening to regional music; a topical novel; audio guidebooks- rough words?;not missing the news from back home; storing your own sounds and pics; finding your way with maps and even your favorite TV shows.
So that is why everybody at the airport is squinting at the palm of their hand!
… and if you thought that was all there was to use:
Hilton Hotels have begun phasing out their old clocks in favor of new models in which you can dock your iPod. Toto, a Japanese toilet company, has just embedded an MP3 player in one of its models; a pit stop in Tokyo may never be the same. And now even that low-tech icon, the Swiss army knife, is no longer immune. A new version shipped last November with an MP3 player in it, too.
Forget about the Swiss army knife for travelling abroad!
How do you use your mp3 player or other gizmos whilst travelling?
My best buy was the purchase of a set of 'Sennheiser noise eliminating headphones' – great for my palm T5 player and for the inflight movies – it surprised me as to how effective they were in reducing the ambient aircraft engine noise, much less stress on those long journeys.

Not a PR tool but great fun and a good way to ease back into posting again.
If you dig straight down, where will you end up?
Countless children (and adults) have wondered where they would end up if they started digging straight down (ignoring the material and methods). Now we have the answer! Most of the planet is covered in water, so most diggers will dig into some ocean or another. What little land there is is generally not opposite other land. Some of South America and Asia, for instance, are opposite each other, but most Americans will swim in the Indian Ocean.
Click on the link above and move the map around to where you want to start digging and before you pick up your pick and shovel the second map will tell you where you will surface on the other side of the world!
There is one marketing angle: – the Google Ads on the site are right on topic – Mini-diggers and post hole diggers!
